Scout Troop Visit

On Tuesday May 26th, the Children's Reading Room hosted a scout troop and each participant took home two books of their choice! We read, The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs! by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith and I Walk with Vanessa: A Picture Book Story About a Simple Act of Kindness, by Kerascoët.

We engaged in a wonderful conversation about critical thinking as well as empathy and compassion. The scouts expressed themselves with truly wonderful insight and thoughtfulness.

It was such a delight to have them at the Children's Reading Room! We hope they visit again soon!
