Pride in the Park

Yet again, we had a fantastic time at Pride in the Park this June!

Thankfully, it was a gorgeous sunny day. Families had a great time exploring all the tents and collecting tattoos, stickers, flags and many other rainbow-themed items to show their Pride!

We handed out a record number of books, 263!!!

This year, we were able to offer new copies of Pirate Glitterbeard by Oksanna Crawley and I am Everything In Between, by Sydney Sunderland, to celebrate Pride in Canadian children’s literature! Each family was encouraged to take home one of these books, along with another choice from the table. We still have many copies available at our 210 Silvercreek Parkway location to pick up anytime!
